car idle at 2k revs ?

installed a rev counter today and i realised the car stood still at 2k revs.

can anyone tell wats it about

do you mean it does it all the time or only from cold tho waz ?

Mine idles very fast and loud when i start the car from cold.....I think its down to the ICV plug and was told its common on all the k11's to do it.

my idle speed 1500 cold,,also drops to 1500 rev'd warm then goes to 750
also my idle speed is very slow progress on my k11
