ok so its not a micra but my friend is selling it due to him getting a company focus.

Ford fiesta finesse. 1.3 (1297cc) 8v 59bhp

T reg (1999 model) in Red fully colour coded.

1 years mot and 1 month tax.

49000 miles, regular services.

4 owners from new, 1 previous owner and 3 within his family.

features: PAS, Cat 1 alarm with RCL, factory fitted sunroof, drivers airbag, Thatcharm approved gear stick lock.

mods include sony single cd/mp3/radio with sony speakers all round and clear indicators.

recent new: pad/shoes, tyre, windscreen.

HPi clear.

interior is in excellent condition, never been smoked in etc.

bad bits: has a couple of light scratches/stone chips. needs 1 new tyre. has a dent in the boot lid and bumper (from a falling tree) that has been pushed out but could do with being replace/filled resprayed.

my mate in work has 1 of these n i belive it was a 1.25 engine n 16v as it keeps up with me in my micra all the way it was like even stevens... weird both our names are stephen too-lol

I dont like the sound of 8v fiestas, the 16v aint too bad tho.
Im sure he'll get the price he wants for it, as i have seen plenty of others with higher milegage going for more money.

those fiestas arent to bad tbh. Is and 8v engine but they alot better then the older ford engines iirc

yup its the 8valve engine.

k11ss your thinking of the zetec fiesta thats the 1.25 16v. this is a 1.3 8v about 15 sec 0-06.

low price, also open to sensible offers as would prefer a quick sale

lol, i think he'll say no due to the company car

its not going in the autotrader till mon so it will about a week before everyone else sees it. means if she could get the cash for it she'd get it first

If I'm not mistaken, the 8 valve 1.3l Ford engine used in the Fiesta is the same engine used in the old mk.1 and mk.2 Escorts, if it is then they are incredibly tuneable, I remember somebody telling me that this was the engine used in Formula Ford racing.

i know its the endura engine thats in there so i'm not sure on tuning, when he looked there wasn't even an airfilter/kit for it.
