Ive been contemplating a black and white checkered roof on my car and I want to see what it would actually look like to see if it will look nice or im just thinking it will look nice haha

You could look at vinyl to stick instead of paint so its changeable/reversible

Yeah it was vinyl I was going for there's a place near me that does car vinyls and custom stickers and all that jazz so im going to phone up them for a price and if it's a bit to expensive for my liking then I'll by vinyl and attempt it myself
