Caliper bolt

Hi everyone,

i intend to change the brake pads on my car, but unfortunately when i was tightening the caliper bolt i snapped it off because i felt it wasn't tight enough.

Luckily I managed to take the snap bolt out. I'm going to look for a new one tomorrow. Can anyone who has a manual help me with the torque setting value?

according to haynes:

Front Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolts 27nm or 20lbf ft

Front Brake Caliper Mounting Bracket Bolts 59nm or 44lbf ft

I did set the torque at 55nm when I tight them as I was quote the data from my Ford Fiesta Haynes manual, then the bolt snap off!
