I just found a super s front bumper. I've sanded it smooth and ordered some black textured paint like the grainy finish on the standard bumpers. Will post an update when I have sprayed and fitted it on the car. Also can anyone tell me how the bumper lights are supposed to be wired into the car?

I've ruined my car 🙁
Hello everyone welcome to the build of my preface lift Micra k11. I'm 14 years old and bought the car to learn about fixing cars and modifying them. Looking for the cheapest car to buy i soon found a Micra.
Very nice little survivor you've found yourself there. I bought my first micra at 16, I now have three so be careful how these cars draw you in. RE the SS bumper, depending on the spec your wiring will already be there in behind the drivers headlight, as will the rev counter wiring. If it isn't there, buying a fog light wiring kit from eBay or Halford will be the handiest for you

After many attempts of getting a decent finish, I think I've gotten as close to the standard bumper finish as I could.my first attempt was using a product called K2 textured bumper paint, which gave an ok finish however was patchy. So after sanding that and a couple of coats of high build and ALOT of sanding I used this rustoleum satin finish paint which I would highly recommend. I also won an auction for a pair of MK4 prelude tombstone seats for just under £15. I will be fitting them soon along with some JDM march tail lights of yahoo auctions.

Hi just picked up my prelude seats today and having a bit of difficulty figuring out what the best way of mounting them to the car and still being able to slide them. Either using the standard Micra rails and modifying them to fit the seats or making some sort of steel plate that mounts to the floor of the Micra and use the prelude seat rails? I'd like to hear if anyone else has done a seat replacement and how you went about doing it?

Years ago I fitted Renault Fuego seats into a 69 VW beetle and welded two box sections across the floor panels and used the seats existing mounts as they were narrower and this left the existing beetle rails too in case anyone wanted to switch back again.

So I got the prelude seats in. What i ended up doing is attaching a thick steel plate to the standard rails and then bolting the prelude seats to that. They sit a tad higher and further back than the original seats in forwards most position and are alot wider but overall fit alright, anyways got one seat in now just gotta do the other.

Bought some cheap numberplate lamps as I'm planning to do a march style rear tailgate. They don't look exactly like the genuine march ones but still quite similar. As for the conversion, I don't want it to be permanent so I'm going to make a fibreglass insert that will go into the tailgate and and give a plain flat surface to work on.

Fitted the wheel. Look mint in my opinion. But need to sort out that arch gap. Also got my fender mirrors I ordered and test fitted them will mount them soon. Should I paint the wheels gold? I designed and 3d printed some custom centre caps too.
