Buying another Micra

Hello to everyone on the k10 side. My name is Liam, I've been on the forum here for nearly 2 years now. I have a 98 K11 (I don't know if anyone has read my blog)

Introduction over, now for the reason I'm posting. For a while I have been looking for a nice clean k10 here in Ireland. They are fairly thin on the ground so I know this will bump the price up a bit. There is an absolute minter 92 white 3 door 1 litre for sale about 100 miles from me.
The only thing is the price, it's 2200 euro (1900 pounds), which has been reduced from 3000. I know this price is madness, as I have looked at lots of for sale posts on English pages but I was wondering if someone here could enlighten me on a more realistic price.
It is very clean and I realise the rarity in Ireland is a factor but I think it's about 3 times the price it should be for a 1 litre 4 speed.

I'm in Ireland, otherwise I would have snapped up a deal like this. They're very rare over here, even early k11s are going down in numbers.

Import charges on a car like that would be very small, you can check how much online. Then there are ferry costs, petrol, maybe a sandwich. Hmmm...

200 for vrt on a classic. Ferry is at least another 300. There would be another few hundred on top of that again I'm guessing so sadly not an option

I am looking in the north too though. Not many there either really. A white 92 is what I'd really like. I have another car, a peugeot 309, that's white and is 92, and that's kind of the reason for it

Haven't found a k10 yet, but there is this for parts with what I believe is a 1 litre super interior. From what I understand this is a fairly rare interior, but I can't seem to work out if all k10 seats are exactly the same or if there are differences in them (bar tombstones)

Sadly this thread is pointless for the foreseeable future as I can't afford to buy another car anytime soon. But for good reason. Hopefully me and a few friends will be JAE bound from Ireland. All going well, see ye there.
