Rollin' with Diesel and V8 Power
Well I decided to do a blog. It won't beupdated much, as I doubt I'll be doing much to her, but here it goes!

Well, I got her for my 17th Birthday. My mum woke me up about 7 in the morning and dragged me outside to find my beauty waiting for me with a bow on her windscreen :) (I have a picture of it somewhere...but i won't be showing it :grinning:)

Then she looked like this after I got some half decent wheeltrims and a steering wheel cover.

One day, I was driving to my mum's and Bubble had her mishap :(

The throttle body died on me and cost near £200 to replace :(

Well there's the alloys, and I've got a wraparound spoiler ready to go on, once sprayed!
I'm thinking clear indicator lenses wouldn't go amiss, and I wouldn't mind sorting out the suspension - One 50 mile drive around lots of twistys made me feel a bit :sick: after all the bobbing about!!
I'm going to get my sills sorted too! :down:
 
Getting it lowered is one of the best things I ever did to mine, it turned it into a gokart!
 
Damn I should really stop using smileys....

Yeah, I'm contemplating lowering too! if the funds allow it :(
 
I use smileys too much too, tends to be more of an MSN thing though lol. And I end too many sentences with "lol"!

Anyway thats straying off the topic.

Cost-wise I got my lowering springs for nowt so I wasn't really complaining, but i'd gladly pay for them now I know what they do. If you can afford them they're a great mod!
 
A couple of updates to the old girl. :love:
Additions include 14" inch steelies on lower profile Kumho tyres, supplied and fitted by Flozman - Thanks man :) - and some CKY stickers on the rear quarter windows. Yup, the bubbles are still there too!

Not exactly amazing news, but I thought I'd share it with you wonderful lot :)

Her sills are getting pretty bad now though, so me thinks it's weldy weldy time!

I have considered it, but not entirely sure how much it would cost. Plus, haven't really got the pennies either :down:
I did think about the spoiler, but i ended up selling the one I had as it has bolts and my car doesn't have the holes for it!

Jamieccc > Yeah will hopefully be putting coilovers on- hoping to get them fairly cheap from a friend!

Ner-Ection > I know, CKY are legendary aren't they? :D Woo fellow CKY fan! :laugh:
 
Riiiight it's been ages since my last update, so I have one here to keep you satisfied :grinning:

It's wheels again - a nice set of Megane alloys I bought off eBay, courtesy of Ollie240485 pointing them out to me! Cheers bud!

My car looks lower at the back in the third pic, not because of lowering springs, just the old wheels in the back :grinning:
Not sure I want to colour-code the bumpers anymore now, mind. The black wheels sort of go with the black bumpers!

I've survived a visit to my parents' house with them on now - my dad originally thought they were wheel trims and I was happy with them thinking that :down:

Never mind, it's vastly improved Bubble, so that's all that matters!
 
Well, as some of you may know, the alloys are now back off, becuase my stupid insurance company are rubbish.
So on go the steelies again, and off come the bubbles :down:

So, my car is looking terribly standard, but come July/August, things will change... Right NeX ;)

OT again: Lucky sod, I never got to meet them properly.
(slightly on topic) The plan is to cover my car with CKY stickers and take it around the country after them on their tour, so they'll see my car and be in awe :D
 
Ooh super s looky likey sounds good. And NeX is the best person to go to! He told me if I get a K11 that I don't need to bother getting an SR as he has everything in his shed/room :p
 
Lets hope! I'm still looking to get the nerve - and the cash - to do it! It'll just be the bumpers and my black alloys to come, although, we'll see! :grinning:

When are the alloys going back on?

Springs sound good, although I think I'll keep the 1.0 in there for now!
I'm so looking forward to seeing the Beast :D Gotta do a photo shoot when Bub's is looking her finest again!

The wheels are going back on toward the end of August - Yonks yet. Got to wait for my insurance renewal to come up as stupid Direct Line don't allow mods!
 
Awww, im renewing in June, got to make sure who ever i go with will allow mods =s really annoying!
 
Sky Insurance were good, I rang them for a quote and they were very good. I decided I'd wait until renewal though.

One thing I recommend - DON'T go with Direct Line!
 
Yeah, alot of people have been saying that with direct line, im with lv at the moment, i think tesco have given me my cheapest quote so far, but i need to ring them about mods
 
I've heard Tescos do accept mods, but it would be best to check - my memory's rubbish!

Well, Bubs is off tomorrow, she's been sold and is going to another loving home with OllyC. Take care of her dude, I'll miss her :down:
