Yes before any1 comments Iv learned my lesson I have been done over good and proper and the car i bought literally is ready to be scrapped holes in sills, crossmember, floor, gearbox, whole in petrol thing or summit corrosion ect ect ect anyway 2 many to lift...

just giving u all a heads up any1 want anything from a 1.3 super_s no dibs please highest bidder gets it as I new as much cash as possible to buy a new car.

Manifold is gone sorry

p.s my dad is gonna kill me!

does anyone know if u can sell the alarm system..as its a cobra alarm system and worth a few bob

and for anyone considering an engine conversion, the one in this car is from a "y" reg whateverthe1.3wasforthatyear and has done VERY few miles
 
can you make a list of everything that you will be selling? with prices that you want aswel, will prob be the easyest way of doing it..

EDIT: i am interested in the skirts and the grill though :)
 
i will take the cover off the big light inside the car "yes i mean the one in the headliner" as i still dont have one just tell me how much u want it posted
 
problems -

welding
both full sills
rear floor near side and offside
n/s ball joint
petrol pipe leaking
middle and back box ready to snap
sump leaking oil
n/s headlight fault (poss stick)
thrust bearing rod
seized clutch

this should not have passed its mot in May and the man at the garage would like me to report this to vosa as it put my life and other ppls lives in danger? He will back me up all the way as he has nothing to gain from it...what do ppl think?
 
Hello, this is going to seem like a stupid little thing to ask for, but can I have your drivers side head lamp connector from the back of the headlamp and about 2 inches of the wiring connected to it (see pic).

Unfortunately mine has gone all crispy (for the second time) and my local scrappy is all out of K11's :(

I'll give you 50p plus postage for it.....

I know its not going to help much with the new car funds, but every bit counts I suppose! :)

Oh and I've just seen your previous post Gemma and I think you should go for it and report the previous MOT tester. It really is appalling to have passed a car in that state.

half a smoothed boot needs filling and spraying ect

i have a standered cat and backbox here


if i think of anything else

need to make as much off this car a poss so peck away and just give me offeres it might be a couple of weeks b4 i get it stripped
 
oh and I'd also be interested in the splitters too if they're in good condition. Can only afford a tenner for each though :(

I know a lovely 1.6L Escort that's being sold quite soon!!!
1987/88 8 Valve 1.6L engine
Twin 3" Exhaust system......barely attached to the vehicle
Boot complete with stick to keep it open
I.C.E.........Nah, actually there's 1 speaker hanging from a wire in the boot!!!
Starter motor...knackered!!!
Starts.....occassionally

James will confirm all of the above!!!!

That's what I thought, 2000-2002 CGA3DE replaced the CG13DE!!!!

and Y reg is 2001/2002 ish.....isn't it???

Unless someone decided to put the CG13DE engine in there!!! 4 some strange reason - but then theirs no guarantees on the mileage ??
 
how much for the alloys? any pics of them? any scuffs etc
does the car have tinted windows?
 
i dont think its Y reg, when i saw it last, there was a large "S" on the cam cover which leads me to believe it came out of an S reg car.

I dont think anything can be done unless yu bought it from a dealer.

yeh private sales you have rights to.. trading standereds said i have the right to get my money back or I can take him to small claims court

anyway im gonna work with raceworx and strip it and get a list compiled together of everything worth selling in the near future so bear with me but please continue to express interest in bits so we know what to remove.

I thought that too.. if it's a private sale, its down to you! That's why you can get vehicle inspections etc. If they approved it and it turned out to be a shed, you could probably get compensation from the vehicle inspectors
 
is the middle brake light a high or low level one, if its a low level one can i have the red lense??? lemme know a price, cheers
 
Gemma, don't goto small claims court, car is sold as seen. If you lose then court fees aren't cheap

well i no fraz sold his for 40 quid but im open to offers but its gonna be a couple of weeks il get a list compiled in the next couple of weeks of things and prices
 
reet ffs i feel so sorry for you coz you have been proper done other on this, i met the lad a couple of times and he seemed as sound as a pound to me but i could tell the car was a state.

Something you mentioend earlier on about the MOT, i might just might be barking up the wrong tree here but im pretty certain Martin worked at Patterson Ford (robbing barsteward's) coz i seen his car there a few times when i got escorted from the premises on a couple of occasions so it is just possible that Martin MOT'd the car himself?? Something to look into?

Also, lately me and my dad have been getting some motors in and getting them up to scratch and flogging them on to make a small profit and i think i might be having a M reg golf come in in the next week or two, dont have any more information on it yet but by the time it comes up will be tax and tested, not jap or nout but i will see what i can do just a proposal although i suppose youve had bad experiences buying privatly ha ha
