Brake warning light comes on when turning right

1992 UK built 1200cc. The brake warning light comes on when turning right and goes off when you straighten up. The brakes seem to be working fine. Any ideas ? All comments gratefully received.

check fluid is at correct level

And check all pad & shoe thicknesses r within limits and no fluids leaking.

Thanks for that. I thought it might be a faulty sensor. Topping up fluid did stop the light coming on. The reason the fluid was low was that the pads were nearly out. No leaks.
