Brake light comes on when keys arent in the ignition?

Hey guys just a quick query, just went for a drive and discovered something strange. For some reason my brake lights iluminate when I press the pedal without the key in the ignition, however the handbrake dosent trigger the lights unless the ignition is turned on. Anyone had this before? Is this usual on k11s? If not is there a problem somewhere? Any help would be greatfully recieved. Cheers.

Cheers pal. Was worried it might have been the cause of my earlier dead battery. Sorry to change subject but could leaving the stock stereo turned on with the ignition off drain the battery at all? Gotta keep runin to the car to check the radio is off just incase atm lol.

Thought as much but wasnt sure. Atleast I can stop running out to the car an hour after arriving anywhere lol. You had a chance to check out the pics on my blog yet pal? Should be some more updates shortly
