Boot opening when removing ign key ?

Hi my wife's 08 k12 has started to open the boot when the ignition key is removed and the boot switch will only work when Ign is on the boot does not lock or unlock when pressing the key fob either but unlocks when the key is removed both the button and lock seem to work but not as there supposed to
Any ideas would be greatly apriciated as its a bit of a head scratcher for me

Rear hatchback lock K12 circuit diagram may help.

Open PDF wiring diagrams 12.15.

See diagram 7 and item 71a 71b.

Usual problem is water ingress into rear hatch back latch/lock.

Had it all out today all seems fine not sure it's the switch as it works fine with the key in the Ignition then it opens when the key is pulled out !!!!

Sorted !!! got a genuine new switch from ebay for 60 quid works fine now
