Bonnet Hinge Bolts.....

just a quick question on the bonnet hinge bolts, what size are they?? and also is there a way to adjust the bonnet back as it seems to overlap the front grill!! thought of trying to adjust the grill itself but dont wanna end up damaging or breaking clips etc!!

Don't know the size of the bolts but you could slot where they go through the hinge for adjustment

the lower hinge bolts are slotted J (but are difficult to access ) the upper ones are shouldered

Be careful to keep the line of the wing/bonnet at the back if you slot the holes, the overlap's not the result of accident repair is it?

My car was never in an accident an old bag had it before me! Being it one owner from new, I checked the front panel and what I merely discovered that it was pushed back alittle, am thinking that when I carried out an engine transplant from a 1ltr to a 1.3ltr I must have caused the from panel some shock! I have adjusted it and no sits as it should!! Thanks for your input guys I appreciate that!!!
