well today came along my rev counter which it a lot bigger than i thought
so i have no choice but to place it in the middle of my dash

also i got my import number plate which i think i will have to modd the bumper some how as it looks odd let me know what you think

a few questions??

how did you wire the rev counter?
what alloys are they ?
and what did you use to tint your lights?
ooo also how did you do your grills or did you buy them like that?
 
the rev counter i used the live,earth,+,- ect from the stereo and theres 1 wire that goes to the distributor cap

not sure what alloys they are pal sorry

to tint the lights i game them to a sprayer friend who did them with a spray gun

the grill i did it dimply just cut the middle out with axe saw alot of sanding body filler the gaps then primer n black spray

the bloke i bought them off had them on a nova
 
i dont like the front number plate. I had one like that on my K10 for a while, just ####ed me off after a while cause it looks so out of place!
 
i noticed that but when they had it up on the computer it came up as import
anyhow other day the film started to come off so i took it back and they refunded me with a new 1 and its smaller so i dont know my self pal i havent a clue how big there suppose to be i just know its square lol
 
well they did a 12x6 one like mine, and iirc a 10x6 witch is more sqaure than a rectangle like the 12x6....as far as iam aware there the only 2 actual jap import car plates.

they do a uk square plate witch people mistake as a jap imort plate. but its just a square uk plate lol rather than rectangle...
 
na its a golf mark2 front splitter :D

getting some more arches soon and a pre face lift boot handle
 
thanks pal but i dont need the boothandle any more :( as i took my existing handle off 2day and the boot some day in its time has been sprayed and the paint doesn't match as the sprayed round the handle

looking to do wiper mod soon also after some side skirts
 
no it doesn't :( dont know if you can see but it the pic there is like a led plug which is for the shift light
 
the shift light i had plugged into the rear of the tacho..dont know how you would go about wiring up the shift light on its own tho.
 
today i went to the scrap yard

front mud flaps £5 for both

boot spoiler/lip £10

and some rover 400 side skirts £20

i also meshed my front grill and put strobe lights in the headlights

also in two minds if to cut the plastic out the front bumper and put black mesh there

??

do what i did to fit the side skirts and use tiger seal. mine have last with tiger seal for a good near on 2 years! without ive tried ripping them off with no luck there on that strong lol...you have to turn the rover ones up side down aswell. oh and the front mud flaps wont fit with the rover side skirts.

dont mesh the front bumper it will look terriable, well thats my 2p's worth!
 
i think i might just rivet the side skirts on not sure decided not to do the bumper
hopefully my bucket seats will be in for this weekend
 
there only the cheap wanna be bucket seats i bought for my old micra but gotta look better than standard

im also going to do the rear wipper mod hopefully as ive just clicked on you take the wiper and motor off the newer k11
 
ive just ordered a pair of green LED sidelights

5 red LED dash bulbs

and 1 red LED interior light

ive also placed a red neon above the drivers foot well soon to be done to the passengers side

going for the red theme to help match my bucket seats as there red and black
 
ive been offered some tsw venoms for £30 with tyres so going to go collect them tomorrow night hopefully get some pictures with them on
 
whats wrong with the alloys you have on? lol venoms are so 1996! they dont look cool anymore! and if you drive it on the road with them on you will get laughed at! dont do it! :p

my green side lights are in but cant really see them much
also put on the venom alloys but they look to small for the :( get another pic up soon

where u get your wind deflectors from ebay ?
 
yer they are from ebay, about £28 quid as i've just ordered some, need a side pic to see alloys and side skirts.

i also started taking the plastic strip off,but its seemed to have pulled the lacquer off with it so they will have to be stuck back on :(

n yeah im watching some on ebay now 28 buy it now
 
are you sure thats taken the paint off and not just crap left behind? Venoms look nasty imo, paint them then stick them back on ebay.
 
tatty arnt they the wheels i prefer my old 1s

i haven't scrapped all the crap off yet but where i have its like taken the lacquer off
 
im thinking of doing this just to be different but i have a few ideas off my own on how else it can work

as the actual headlight chrome bit seems to be slightly tinted

the facelift facelift head lights are diffrnent to yours and mine facelift ones. the glass is clear than with lines in like ours. hes just painted the insides black and put silver indicator bulbs that flash ornage ;)
 
quick question on those pics...where are the bonnet pin holes? and why has it got the diffrent panel without catch when it doesnt have pins?

or was this picture taken before the pins where fitted?
