Oh cool, i used to drive a red 1.0l LS, but just recently got myself a black super s 1.2 so using that now....
What colour is your K10? :)
 
Fairrr, White 1.2l LS mate, completely standard apart from two speakers i put in both passangers side, really want to slam her though :(

Ahh fair enough, i've done quite a lot, but haven't actually lowered any of my K10s yet! :glare:
What speakers did you put in then? Got a sub too ?, and an upgraded head unit? :)
 
Yeaaaahhh, i really want to see if i can bee cheeky and get someone to fabrican some polo coilys for me! errm noo sub for me! rattels the car too much, just two 10cm pioneers not two sure on thier output, and yeah pioneer DPH-1300 head unit i think, oh yeah and i sticker bombed the dash, got bored on a last tuesday....

Haha, wow man that is pretty mental with all of those stickers, is yours a 4 speed or a 5 speed then?
I got a few pics, a few changes have been made since but not a huge amount.....

Yeahhh, unfortunatly mate its an Auto, was my sisters car, bought it off her for £150 :) yeahh im just looking for some 13x5 superlites and to slam it. maybe open up the grille, its a facelift model so i cant get the grey multi slat grille....

Ah cool, i like the facelift model what's the mileage?, what's the auto like.... Feel pretty fast? £150 is a good price aswell! (Y)
 
Yeahh, the grille is odd though! fast if it actually decides to changed down, 97k :) yhhhh, £150 was okay, few bumps and a little bit of rust, but shes reliable :)

Yeah mate K10s are so reliable and hard to kill, rust was a problem on mine too but i've spent quite a long time over that, was worth it.. Did some welding on the sills too, pretty expensive if you don't contain the rust, annoying too! Other than the rust, everything else about the K10s i prefer over the K12s and K13s etc.....

We had a recent meet in Brighton, so unsure how many appear for a Reading meet? It's not like we have a beach or a pier :)

Here is a photo of mine from the Brighton meet, my MPG is pretty good I have opted for the 6x9 setup its lighter! :p

See that is all i want done with mine! low and wide, neeeeed modded coilys sooo bad! ahah. yeah you got a good point with the Reading meet.
I cba to cut into the parcel shelf so just cut into the rear passanger side panels :p

you running 13x5s there?

Yeah you're right:grinning:, that's why i now have a smaller sub, just a 10" single cone with a 600 Watt amp that takes up about half of the boot. Weighting just under 20KGs, so i thought it should hardly affect my MPG/acceleration:eek:. I would only use 6*9s instead but they just aren't the same, i also have some 250 Watt RMS 6*9s in my parcel shelf now. What MPG do you usually get, although i know it's hard getting it accurate in a K10....

According to the manual, which were probably carried out in perfect conditions, with no extra weight etc..
The MPG for urban driving for the MA10 manual is 44MPG and for the MA12 is 42MPG.
However at constant speed, for the MA12 at 56MPH it's 58 MPG and for the MA10 (4 speed) at 56MPH is 54MPG, which is pretty impressive!
I however usually get 35-40MPG urban driving and 40-50MPG on the dual carriageway/motorway depending on how fast i drive :)
For Auto models MPG is slightly decreased.
 
I work in Theale, just down the road from Reading! Rocking in a bright blue Lupo at the moment though :laugh:
I might be up for a meet on a Friday evening somewhen :)
 
i would put a pic up but have to idea how lol yh i have only seen one and thats mine lol i only got it by luck when i was driving round london, so how u put pics up ??
