Anybody found themselves doing this?

Due to a 'heavy' ( my family call it an obsession ) interest in cars and modifications... I generally talk a lot about them.. a lot of the time..

Has anyone found themselves using 'car' terminology at the wrong time...

like:

''Does your TV do that as standard?''
''Is that her standard hair color?''
'' Shes in good nick ''

..not all of the time... just sometimes i catch myself doin it in the flow of normal conversation?

or is it just me?

Boyfriend : My mate slammed his girl yesterday, it took a long time apparently.

Boyfiend: I mean he lowered his micra and he calls it his girl
Girlfriend: Ah your talking 'car talk'....Why am i with you again ???

"My mate has had his girl decked!!!" = My mate got his car lowered.

"I got my girl some new shoes, they are size 15's!!!" = Got my car some new wheels.

"I had her handles smoothed over"

Haha theres loads when you think of them.

These kind of things happen to me sometimes, for example: I was once walking in the city with my good friend and I saw perfectly original black Super S K10 going by the street and I said without thinking what I said: "panisin" which is finnish and is similar to "I'd do her" in english. You can imagine the reaction of my friend :grinning:
