(Y) as i said earlier........very nice Ant! looks awesome!
hope your happy with how its turning out!
so Solarice was lucky with the nismo splitter fitting his!

i thought you where going NA!!!! ok ill wait to hear more progress lol incase you change your mind ;)

arches looking good Antony...dunno if i agree about mine being easier to fit though :) if only because i had to cut off alot more arch ;)

what offset are your wheels +45?

just so i can do the maths and see where my new ones are gonna roughly be.

ET 38... + 35mm spacers.... so, if you had 3mm offset wheels, thats where you would sit... almost perfect, but there is a chassis "weld line" on the inside of the arch (jnner arches removed) that rubbs the tyre when on full lock..... but i can bend that over with me "special tool" (a hammer)

ah yeah i think i know where you mean...im currently looking at stuff lower than 3mm offset, so looks like i should be good. :)

#####ing, oh well - got any more pics of it all on the car - what you thinking for the front end?

surely its an easy bulb to get and replace? then connect into the rear brake light wiring!! Ant it needs to be working!!!!!

I is LED, has a Nissan part number on it - if I can get my one out do you want that?

yeah, had a little skitish moment on the a1m/m62 slip road, it beds round to the left ad you could easily do 100+ through there, but at 70mph (the road surface is appauling) the bumps were sending my car flying, the splitter hot the floor, the wheels smacked the arches...

now im not sure if i need stiffer springs (i coilovers) or the whiteline anti-roll bars, but somethings not right. it just seems that my shock absorbers are too stiff on compression and too soft on rebound.,

ive got the Sport line eibach and bilstein setup.

basicaly when you hit a bump at motorway speed, the car jars up and then the suspension reacts making it wallow for a few seconds. if there was a series of bumps it would bottom out and stay bottomed out scraping the floor till it was smooth again.

oh and is there a way of adjusting rear camber?

i think the suspension is shafted..lol

Looking good so far. Remove the shopping list though! ;)

That definately doesn't sound right. It might just be how hard the suspension is, rather than how soft....it can make for a pretty unpleasant ride at speed.

Please don't break it :glance:

hmm.... i dont realy know as it still leans like mad through the corners....

would still love coilovers though..lol

Your shocks sound shot mate. Get out the car and press down hard on all 4 corners. If you can press it down at all it's probably too soft. If when you press down it comes back up and goes down again the the shocks are shafted.

Ivan

Updated pics to follow 21-10-08

carbon interior panels, removable steering wheel, new graphics, bucket seat, harness, strut braces fitted......watch this space...

Hey bud, what spacers did you use and where did you get them from? I am going to need some when I fit my arches :/

Thanks,

James.

He used Grayston spacers, I can't remember the spec but they gave an extra 35mm, I got some recently off ebay then realised the thread size was different, back on ebay they went, lol.

i got mine off kristian..
they are grayston 35mm spacers, although speaking to SUMO power they can order Nismo 50mm hubcentric spacers designed to work with the arches.. these are £80 each tho.
pics in 20 mins....

p.s. rear bumper pics also...lol

^seconded!! pics needed!
