alloys+speedo=right speed?

how do i keep my speedo the same if i put alloys on it surly if i put 15s on a car with 15 steels that would make it right:suspect:

If I am right, as long as you keep the wheels the same size you should be fine. If you were, say, to put 17" alloys on a car which came with 13" wheels as standard then you would need to re-calibrate your speedo. I think the tyre size can also make a difference.

if the wheels are exactly the same then you dont need to alter anything. if say the 15 inch alloys got lower profile tyres then speedo will be out a bit.
