Alloys + Rubbing.. 15s

If i had a set of 15 inch alloys, with an offset of 45 - would they scrub REALLY bad?
... or is that just on full lock etc.. they would be 7 inches wide, but with a thinner tyre like 195/45/15s...

(Also, the offset should be 35, so since they are 45, does that mean they will sit 1cm closer to the inside of the car (which is where i can imagine them rubbing) than the same set with an offset of 35?)

Sweet, cheers man :p
I thought i might have to go sick on it with the tyres;
Like so... :p

hmm offset of 45 is quite different to standard, i'm not sure if anyone has tried that offset before..

Can you try them before you buy?

Personally I wouldnt bother.

Im sure a specified offset of 35-37 is there for a reason..

The car will be lowered 35 to 45...
BUT i will have koni shocks.... so there wont be much travel...
Should be fine, ill let you know... (abit further in will be good, due to the width..)

ive bought a new set of tsw pace 15" with 195/55 yokahamas when i got my car and lowered it 35mm all round. My front wheels do seem to sit slightly neerer the rear of the arch than the front.Could they have sold me the wrong ones??
(altohugh this was about nine months ago so tuff to me probably).
Any ideas??:upside:
