All new Nissan Micra

There were images of the new generation of small Nissan.
Also showed that the Micra will be assembled in Asia. Current generation of the car was produced for European markets in Sunderland, England.


This is the next Nissan Micra
In the new Nissan Micra announced a "global compact car", which will be sold in 150 countries worldwide. The model will be produced at least 4 countries - India, Thailand, China and another country which is not named by Nissan, but say it is also in Asia.

The plant in Sunderland will be transformed to produce the new crossover Qazana, but at a later stage, possibly for Electric Leaf.


This is the next Nissan Micra
The design of the new Micra is quite dynamic, with a bulging line passing through the side door and approached the rear lights. Roof line goes into the back part of his spoiler.

According to Nissan executives from the serial production of new generation Micra will begin in May 2010 the first in the company's factory in India. Sales in Europe are expected from early autumn of 2010

Looks like a cross between a Corsa VXR and a The Fiat Grande Punto Abarth, the back being the corsa and the front being a punto.
Not a bad effort but not ground breaking like the K11 micra shape! Shame it wont look anything like it once it put into production. And will it they have a performance model? a Micra GTI / GTR?
They are part of renault now so why not use the Mégane RS R26.R: 2.0L turbocharged 16-valve, 230 BHP lump in the "new" micra? See how many of those they sell?

it looks like a aygo from the back and the new ka from the front but all in all it looks the mutts nuts definatly agreeing with darryl bout the gtt or st idea id definatly have one if they produced it

Looks like a tigra on the front to me, not a fan from those drawings to be honest.

I like the front but we already have an existing Vauxhall Corsa VXR. We don't need Our beloved Nissan replicating lesser marks.

Looks like an Aygo...which can't be good!...they should bulk up the Micra like the Mini, not shrink it into oblivion!!!
