A good specialist near Glasgow?

Hello,

Can any one recommend a good Nissan specialist or independant near Glasgow or Stirling?
I'm needing help with the ruch running/stalling on a 2001, K11 I've just bought. I need a proper mechanic who knows how these cars work and will not just keep replacing random componants at my expense.
Or perhaps a good fuel/electrinic specialist?
Any one god a good wee place they can recommend?
Cheers,
Wullie

i,ll disconnect my coolant sensor tomorrow, and run it on petrol, to see if the ecu hangs on a coldstart mixture (via my multimeter)

erm, can i suggest someone that will know more about K11's than most dealers around that area?

he name is george, nicon from this site although he hasn't been on in years, he is actually a banker now, lol

but i will ask him if he doesnt mind

ask any of the older lads off the site, im sure no one would say a bad word about his work

Now that's a name i haven't heard in a long time. George is a legend in his own right.

when i bridged the coolant temp sensor the fan kicked in, so a high resistance signal = hot engine.
so if you bridge yours, it will fool the ecu into not metering a coldstart mixture.
and if it then runs ok, the sensor may be duff.
(providing coilpack jobbies are the same setup)
