6x9's in parcel shelf

Im having trouble fitting my 6x9's into the parcel shelf.

I took apart the original speakers and I know the holes will have to be cut slightly bigger to make them fit thats not the problem, the topside of the shelf is curves so the speakers sit in a recess, where the edges of the recess and it narrows and the covers for the speakers wont fit in unless I move them practically to the middle of the shelf. Does the facelift k11 have a flat parcel shelf I can use instead?

i had the same problem mate.
if the speakers fit in the middle then thats all you can do! if they dont fit at all then its abit more tricky!!

my JBL 6x9 sit straight, but before on my custom parcel shelf i had them angled, but i couldnt do this, this time! im happy with the straight, better than not having any etc

yours is a facelift? u mean "pre-facelift" think they are the same mate?

No I meant like, the post 2000 facelift sorry I got a bit confused.
