Ill start by saying i know nothing about micra's and even less about CVT's
im getting a speed related noise its a deeper sound than a whine noise stops when stationary
noise is still there even if i select neutral and coast
it looks a little wet round the sump of the gearbox
checked oil level well admittedly it needs a tiny top up but was quite concerned to see the fluid was black
in my mind it seems to be a warn bearing just from the way the sound is speed related with no other issues
and at a guess it has cooked the fluid turning black
