Manual says 93mph is top speed for a 1.0

I've heard of people using the plank of wood trick to fix the doors. Place a long piece of wood under the door and lever it up. Needs to be done carefully not to fold the door!

or put washers in the hinges to lift the door.

top speed in a 1l 60/70 dont know never had 1

put a bit of wood on ya sill then a piece from that under ya door and lift not to hevey handed or new hinges not sure if the pins can be replaced. frank as a pic in a thread somewhere

I take my hat off to you, I've only ever managed a top speed of 70 on the motorway regardless of the car I was driving

The 1.0 top speed is pretty high iirc, if its facelift too, they move pretty nicely because of the different g/box im guessing 99/98
