My super reliable Micra SR has got to go - I'm going to miss Rocky :(

We have family plans and are now looking for something newer, safer and with 5-doors for potential extra occupants! The Micra also requires work on the front sills and small parts of the floor for the next MOT.

It's been ultra reliable over the years and has never once broken down on me, I've owned it for around 4 years now. Generally in ok condition for its 15 year age. Tidy inside and not too bad on the outside other than some rust (common problem caused by sunroof draining system on the SR's). The usual scrapes on bumpers, etc.

I'll try and be as honest as possible, please ask me any questions you have.

1997 Micra SR
103,000 Miles
MOT until end of July 2012
Serviced Annually (new oil, oil filter, spark plugs, coolant)

Good Bits:

+ Extremely reliable - its never let me down
+ Engine still great, pulls well in all gears, good MPG
+ Rear sills were welded last year for the MOT
+ Powerflow Custom Performance Exhaust
+ OMP Strut Brace
+ Apexi Super Air Flow Convertor
+ Usual SR spec (electric window, nicer seats, etc)
+ Receipts for all work since I've owned it
+ Some spares thrown in for free (spare intake manifold, fuel rail, etc)

Bad Bits:

- Rusty front sills, hole in drivers side sill (see photo) - car will come with a brand new set of sills to use for any -repairs
- Small hole in floor (rear drivers side in the passanger footwell - about 2" in size)
- Minor rust patches on floor - I'll include a new large can of underseal with the car
- Rust on front drivers side wheel arch (see photo)
- Rust patch next to sunroof (common problem with SR) and patch starting to show on other side - I have an unused touchup kit which I'll include with the car
- Rust underneath driver's wing mirror
- One side of boot handle is broken - Replacement from scrapyard would fix this issue
- Metal panel inside boot is missing - Always has been but I have a spare
- One crack in the front bumper and some marking (see photo)

Some photos:

Note - induction kit has just been sold, standard airbox will be fitted!

I haven't got the time available to have the welding done, so whoever is capable of doing that will have a nice car they can spend some time on and hopefully enjoy for a while.

£400 inc current modifications (no tax)

£360 car only (no tax)

I'll leave the current tax on the car (renewed in January at a cost of £130ish) for another £80.

Possibly a Stage 2 Ford ST-3. 5-doors but 305bhp so keeps both parties happy ;)

Forgot to add in the original post:

One of the heat shields for the exhaust has rusted at its rest mounts to it sometimes rattles on the Powerflow mid-silencer. It's annoying more than anything but I don't have the time to remove it. So just whip it off and it'll be sorted, it's a common problem on the K11's!

Just an update on this, checked the date and the SR is MOT'd until August 1st 2012.

So still over 4 months of MOT left.

It's priced to sell, very cheap compared to many that have been for sale on here. If you can weld, you're sorted.
