160sr what to look for

Alright people

I’m going to look at a 160sr at the weekend with a view to buying my ideal k12. I’ve had numerous 1.2’s and a 1.4 but finding a 160sr within close travelling distance has always been elusive.
Any hints or tips on what to look for? It’s had numerous owners and is on 75k miles?

75k is good low mileage, you haven’t mentioned what year the car is?
The HR16DE engine doesn’t have hydraulic tappets, they need adjustment every 60k miles so listen for a rattling engine, if it’s been serviced properly they’d have been done.
Check the fuel filler neck area, they rust on all Micra K12’s The infamous electric power steering, make sure that feels and sounds and looks OK.
All the usual checks aside the 160SR is essentially the same as any other Micra.
