15A fuel pump fuse keeps blowing

Came home from work and had loss of power and car stalled.

Pin pointed it to the 15A fuel pump fuse. Replaced it for another one and blew instantly when I switched ignition on.

So I guess my fuel pump is shorting...

Can anyone shed some light as to previous experiences or how to fix. :/

you could disconnect the pump and try jay

it,ll tell you if its the pump thats drawing too much current, or if its the relay or wiring

mine,s behind the o/s kick panel mate (near your right ankle)

Found the cause. It will need a new fuel pump. Had a fuse saver tried ignition on with fuel plugs disconnected and didn't trip, this meaning I've eliminated relay and wiring. And then tried with plugs connected and it blew the fuse.

So tomorrow it's a new pump
