15" Wheels

Hi I currently have 14" steels on my micra with 165/60/R14 tyres but want to swap them for 15" alloys off an almera gt which have 195/60/R15 tyres on them, the car has not been lowered at all.

I'm just wondering would the wheels fit without catching at all? and has anyone else got 15" wheels on with 60 tyres? I'm just thinking since the car hasnt been lowered I have quite a large arch gap and since I have the same size tyres as the new wheels surely the whole wheel including tyres should only be an inch bigger?

also since the almera wheels are 195 will they fit or require modding?

Cheers,

OLeary.

here I run 195/50/15, lowered 50mm, inner splash guards removed.
the rolling diameter is 576mm and speedo reads 100% gps accurate.
at full lock it just about barely touches the chassis.

ur 165/60/14 gives a rolling dia of 553mm which makes the speedo read 104.2% over.

the 195/60/15 is 615mm dia (40mm bigger than mine) which makes the speedo read 93.7% under the real speed and it may foul the inner guards/chassis at full lock.

I recommend sticking to these tyre sizes

Do you think I could run 195/50/15 without removing splash guards? My car isn't lowered
