15" wheels with lowering springs ------

Hi all, are there anyone on the MSC forum running there cars with 15" alloy wheels and lowered suspension, would like to get some ideas here, if there are any pictures to post would be great to see and show off!! also state the lowering spring rate!!

I do indeed have what you describe. Even if it is a pair of k10s

Love to state the lowering rate but I've no idea. I just know they're my tarmac springs

Et35. Nothing special but they sit flush with the arch

Mine has been lowered, 20mm between the arch and the wheel when I was running 14"
I now run 15" with 195x45s with no problems. I have a picture on the........ wheels a question thread, makes the car look quite haunchy...... have a look, not bad imo.

The Super S that I just bought is sitting on 15s (7J ET40) and I am not sure how much it is lowered by but I would say between 45-60mm (I think?) It sits really nicely with 165/50 rubber (which gives just a nice amount of stretch) and they don't rub on the arches.

If you don't like running stretch a smaller offset would work okay with wider tyres. The winter alloys I have with it are also 15" with 195 rubber and fits the car no problems.

AAHhhhh, some very nice cars here and wheels and thanks for the upload, more the merrier..., i got my self some alloys for £100 195/50/15 and was worried with my FK spring drop the tyres may rub and thought to change the tyres to 195/45/15..

Now with a Red micra, contemplating to paint these wheels up but which colour?

Alloys just purchased!!

The spare Winter wheels I got for my Super S (15" with 195s) are black and they look pretty good on it, the silver you already have I think would also work well though

Cheers guys!! i think your right, ill have to get em cleaned up and re-spray them just some light scratches here and there that i want to sort out!! need to get a set of spigot bearings as these alloys came off from a Renault Clio..

Mine's on 15x7 et20 with 175/50 tyres. I think it's about a 60ish mm drop
