12V source around footwells....

Hi all,

I've just got a K12 as my first car..and was wondering about a bit of modding. I am new to all of this (what with it being my first car..) and was going to start with lit footwells-(risking the chav factor :glance: ). Does anyone have any ideas about where the easiest place would be to wire them up to (12v)-I don't want any wires visible otherwise would cheat and use the cigarette lighter socket.

Also..if anyone has any ideas as to what light so use wld be appreciated

U can use the positive of the cigarette lighter (instead of putting the plug into the lighter socket) or the positive from ur head unit, or a direct feed from your battery in the engine bay.

Thx...gna sound rele stupid now but how do i get 2 positive terminal of the cig lighter? Wot panneling do i need to remove to get to it and how? Soz...am new to this all,

Not sure on the k12 as I dont own one, Im sure someone else can help you out here, but if you have a look around u shud be able to find a panel that can be removed to get to it...
