1.0 Coilpack Turbo (I don't know what I'm doing)

Hey guys
Tomorrow I'm picking up this:

I just thought I'd take it as it seems so cheap. The guy said he'd tell me how it's all set up. Does this look alright? I will hopefully some day stick this on my 1.0L Coilpack (second facelift).

Also sent me a quick video of it in action.
He told me on the standard ECU it's alright at 0.8bar.
Does this look okay or is it a bit fishy?

thats cheap aint it ! you might want to clock the compressor outlet towards the intercooler and fit a better chargepipe tho, and as long as the turbo seals are ok it should,nt let oil into the turbine (the turbo angle/tilt)
the stock ecu should be fine on a 1.0 coilpack, its maf etc is already scaled upto 85hp, and its a self-learn type ecu too

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. I haven't left yet and was just waiting for someone to post "Don't go!"

Well, I got it! For £120 in the end!
He actually offered to fit it for me too some time (as long as I buy him a couple of packs of cigs). Awesome stuff, just need to buy a couple things including an exhaust flange for it to adapt to the stock middle section.
Really pleased so far with this, told the guy to check out the forums too.

Those charge pipes look a bit pants but other than that good buy

I quite like the idea of having a turbo setup for a 1.0L
There's sooooo many 1.0L Micras out there that can be picked up for a few £'s. It's like an endless supply.
Just swap your setup on a new Micra every time the old one goes bang :) :)

It is pretty nifty
Probably be easier swapping a new engine in though
That's what I have, a spare cg10 sat in a shed.
I'm in 4 figures mileage-wise on my setup and she's still going strong!
