So I painted my steel wheels with some paint i found at the back of my garage and put some stainless steel trim rings off a dolly sprint on them. I think they look awesome, better than alloys any day of the week. Opinions?

Its not just the castor angle that makes wheels self center though is it, theres also the scrub radius and king pin inclination that push them back straight and I reckon it has a fair bit more than 2 degrees of castor to begin with and thats all I'd be losing.

Yeah I know thats how they did it, I was just using it as an example of the angle i want: On a short wheelbase car like a k11 it should just be a matter of a little drop and a little lift.

Good Idea, didn't think of that. Are the stock fronts stiffer than the stock rears though? I'd rather not mess up the ride comfort if i can avoid it.

I am thinking of lowering just the front of my car on some matiz springs to give it a Starsky and Hutch style rake but I've done some calculations and this would only be a 1.2 degree angle and I was looking for more like 2-3 so is there an easy and safe way of lifting the rear a little? I know...

They will fit as the stud pattern and nuts are the same on all k11 micras. They are supposed to be a tight fit, otherwise they would fall off. You have to give them a decent few whacks with the palm of your hand.

Where can I pick up a +12v live behind the dashboard that doesn't switch off while the starter motor is engaged? i.e. not the radio? Any help would be much appreciated as I don't have my haynes manual with me and won't while friday.

My rear beam was paper thin between the spring cup and the hub, it broke mid corner when I was doing 40+mph and after spinning 270 degrees put me backwards into a ditch via a hedge. Don't think just because something is heavy it's strong.

No. It was off for two nights with a rag stuffed in the inlet manifold though so maybe some moisture got in??
