    normally the engine should easily go beyond the speedo scale, at least that is what I know what a normal K10 can do (170km/h)... If you don't reach the end of your speedo scale, than you should look at the engine, because something must be fishy there

    the 5 speed 1.2 gear ratio is longer than the 5 speed 1.0 gear ratio... so probably she will save some fuel with that :D

    It is a bit tricky, but you should get it out if you twist it right... but remember :D you have to get a new exhaust back on :D this was way harder in my opinion

    No, you have about 4 different looms used in the k10s... well, at least. Sometimes I think they used different wire colours in every k10 :D

    I know from the German Micras, that you have to take the red/white one... but you have no red/white one :D. But if I look in this German instruction (I don't know if you can open it) http://www.nissanboard.de/jgs_db.php?action=download&download_id=20&sid= I think it is the blue wire

    the pump itself is mechanical, it is driven by the camshaft. so I think this will not be the reason. check the vaccuum lines first, you can check them with some brake cleaner. spray it onto them when the car is running and if the engine revs up, the line is broken

    first i would get rid of the exhaust manifold. the inlet is one of the best designed I have seen so far, but the exhaust one is really terrible. a wonder, that the cylinder don't blow each other away
