Right, thanks! I think it's way beyond broken, I can take the key out in any position, including the engine being running... it does stick in and pop out when the key is turned... Cheers! Graham

Don't you just love buying cheap cars from ebay without any history... Had a better look round (why don't I do that when I'm buying it?) and figured out why the handling is a bit wierd. On the back we have 155 65 R 13s and on the front are 155 80 R 13s. Which in my mind puts the stance a bit...

Thanks for all your help. Today I watched it start up from cold and there was exhaust coming out from around the back box so I popped into an exhaust place and found out that the back box was holed... obviously it's gone in a place that makes it sound nice :D Cheers Graham
