Been painting the brake calipers, went for a subtle silver option over the usual red. Used tinned hammered silver hammerite and dabbed it on with a brush.

I put Almera injectors in mine, it ran extremely badly, so I quickly put the old ones back in. As said above without the extra air and fuel management they are pointless.

I used ' Gunk Engine Degreaser' once applied and left to settle, I then used a wire brush on the cam cover and it worked a treat.I got the final look by using a metal polish. As for the surrounding paintwork I used WD40 and a rag, it works wonders.

If you want to hear what it sounds like on your car just unbolt the back-box and start her up. If you wanted you could cut where the pipe meets the back-box to retain that bend to clear the rear axle and weld a bit more on and put an exhaust tip on. It should be fine for the MOT.
