erm... no. IMHO: those strips look absolutely pants. every car ive seen that has them fitted looks like they fitted them while wearing a blindfold. simple bumper mounted driving lights look purposeful and good, however, id modify the sidelights and double up on them ;)

i had the same problem with my astra, until i was driving home down unlit back roads in the pouring rain and the wipers stopped working all together! thankfully i had my gf's swimming goggles in the car (she'd been to the gym that afternoon) so i put those on, wound the window down and...

unless we find an oil pocket bigger than the moon we wont have any oil left within 5 years. america and china are the biggest consumers hence they get it cheaper... our little island is screwed without foreign imports of oil/gas/coal etc no vehicle manufacturer is taking this seriously...

a couple of the lads in my local club have fitted them to tailights...no trouble and passed one m.o.t so far lol just dont go sticking them on headlights, the plod will get arsey...
