I didn't cut it to size, used a drill and self tapping screws for the whole flap, I like it that way!

Sorry for late reply Well I bought mine purely for the hell of it...they made a small difference to keeping the car clean, they hold up well on these backroads I find, when you're going full beans, only time i scrape em is when i'm pulling onto the drive way, which is a sloped entrance..so..up...
