regular oil services are done by myself, approx every 5k miles as the car doesnt do much mileage..so i do it yearly anyway. i need to take a look at the tensioners to see how much out.. any advice on how i can do this thanks

cant view the sensors on the code reader. i ran it for 15 mins...switched it off...then put the code reader on it and let it run for a few mins...still nothing coming up on the code reader.. havnt changed the lambda as yet...though i get about 280 miles on a full tank, and it slightly judders...

car has done 35k miles am sure the chain has stretched as i can hear it i think.. so was wondering to get it done,,,,but at £500...i could have an engine replaced for that much...

how much do you rckon they charge for this

hi, i was wondering what i need to change for a cambelt chain change.. is it only the chance that is replaced or do i cahnge the rollers tensioners waterpump... thaNKS

advice needed please.. ive tested the 1st lambda sensor and its reading was .15v steady with no fluctuatuion.. i also checked the other white cble and that read 14.* v do i need to change this sensor... also nothing came up on the code reader...even with the engine running for a few minutes.

finally do i test with the harness connected or off thanks

ive used several from ebay and all work.. u480 and gunsens from halfords which does cars from 2001.. i am still not sure where the red wire and the black wire go on the lambda sensor... is it that the red wire goes to the lambda white wire and the black lead on the multimeter goes to...

hi, i have micra k12 on 03 plate ..recently running poor on fuel and tries to cut out at idle sometimes.. done all the basics like air filter plugs and oil.. the old spark plugs were black and sooty.. i suspect the lambda sensor but i dont know where to put the multimeter wires to to check...

what software r u using as i bought a obd software package off ebay with leads..

thanks for the reply guys. The book gives a choice of oil type. It says that 5w 30 will improve fuel economy it says that for cold and warm weather i should use 10w30 and for hot weather 20w 50 so my question is which type should i use. Can i use 10w 40 as i have 10l of gtx magnatec...

hi Folks Just purchased a nissan micra 1.2s (k12), 2003. Just had a few questions, what oil type do i use and what do you expect to get out in terms of mileage from a full tank of 45litres.
