This screens not working at all, what readings should it bring back on multimeter?

Was timing chain new fitted and all good

New inlet packers fitted so far so good

Hi Rear heated screen not working, re soldered wires that were broke in the boot rubber, light is working at the switch, no reading when checked with volt reader. Fuses under the light haven’t been checked but switch wouldn’t light up if fuse problem? Or would it?

Thanks, It’s the intermittent bit that’s annoying me it maybe fine for weeks then it’s will stall at every junction all of a sudden, clear codes and it’s perfect for another few weeks

It’s a evap valve apparently, don’t think it’s related to my problem, p1171 seems to all link back to the map, I’m going to run it with this different map on and see how it goes

I e just changed the map sensor and it’s been ok but could just be a coincidence, out of interest what's this sensor?

Thanks for your reply, I’m also getting p1171 after stall, adding this to what you have just said is leading me away from the gearbox, doesn’t appear to be any air leaks, timings been done and bang on, throttle body cleaned, no other codes being thrown? I’m stumped and so is my mechanic, any...

Hi 2006 Auto has a constant P0745 code, its now I believe causing stalling somehow, Ive changed the oil but its made no difference, could it be the solenoid? the transmission ECU or is the gearbox gone altogether? Any thoughts please?

Did you ever find a cure to this please?

Will check plugs but would it not throw a misfire cylinder code? I’m thinking chain may have slipped now

Hi Micra 2006, engine starts but is hard to but then lacks power Fault code is crankshaft sensor, replaced it and it’s no different, pretty confident it’s not the timing chain, could it be the cam sensor?

Hi, thinking of changing the box oil as the gear change isn’t as smooth as it should be and it’s not changing well sometimes uphill, I’ve seen some people say they have changed it and it’s caused issues with gear change “slipping”, any advice or opinions before I do it?

Ok will give it a go , was it easy to swap if needed? Euro parts the best place to source a replacement if needed?
