    Inner sill repair

Good job on the repair (y) Mine needs some similar work doing on the inner sills, looks nearly identical to this. What type of metal did you use for the replacement plates? And did it take long to fab them up and weld?

    Sam's 2nd Project - Rosie the K11

This past month has been pretty hectic... uni exams, moving back home and a bit of driving around the country! During my uni exams, not much was happening with the car (as you'd probably expect lol), but I drove it every now and then to both clear my mind during a bit of a stressful period and...

    Sam's 2nd Project - Rosie the K11

It's been a super productive week , and I can finally say the car is back on the road! [emoji322] The one thing keeping it driveway-bound was the driver's side CV joint, which was changed out yesterday. After watching a number of walkthroughs on YouTube, I felt relatively confident in tackling...

    How to go low

I believe the lowest you can go with off-the-shelf lowering springs is around 60mm if you get Humphries ones, they are about £270 off eBay last time I looked. I want to say the Alto/Corsa B setup will give you about 40mm but don't quote me. I once saw a set of aftermarket Corsa B shocks and rear...

    Sam's 2nd Project - Rosie the K11

Rosie's slowly been getting the TLC she needs over the last couple of weekends, and as it stands the car is very nearly ready to get back on the road! A few more tiny issues presented themselves as I was working on the car but they are all sorted now. Here is what I've been doing! The first mod...

Thank you Paul, ever helpful as always [emoji1303][emoji1303]

Will a MAF sensor fault warrant a lean AFR?

Hi all, I recently did an OBD scan to check what was causing my check engine light It threw up two fault codes, P0100 (MAF sensor fault) and P0171 (System too lean - bank 1) I expected the MAF sensor fault and a replacement is already on the way, but would that also be the cause of the lean...

    Sam's 2nd Project - Rosie the K11

Hey all ? it's been a while! I did promise to make a return on here once I finally got a new Micra, and I'm happy to say that time has finally come ? Introducing Rosie! You'd be forgiven for thinking this photo was just another pic of my previous Micra, Kylie. That's because they are...

    Sam's 1st Project - Kylie the K11

Hey all, haven't done an update in a while, and unfortunately this is a rather sad one ? A little over a month ago I was getting Kylie ready to be parked in my drive before going off to university. The car's MOT was due on September 20, so of course getting the MOT done was one of the things I...

K11 can they take E10 petrol?

I finally threw some E10 in today after failing to find a pump where 97 super wasn't out of order ? Only put in 1/3 of a tank but it was enough to make me feel apprehensive lol. I'll report back with any issues should any arise. Touch wood they don't!

    Sam's 1st Project - Kylie the K11

It would be rude to park the car up without one more mod, right? ? Ever since I got the car I wanted the gauge cluster with the rev counter. After looking about for a good few months, I bought this one off eBay for £45, literally within moments of seeing it as they're often snatched as...

    K11 Armrest Console

I'll be honest, I haven't a clue as I haven't bought anything from there. In terms of payment I can imagine it's rather straight forward, as in they take your money at whatever the exchange rate is at that moment with shipping and tax calculated at checkout. Much like eBay I suppose. As for the...

    K11 Armrest Console

I only found out about it recently myself! They don't have eBay over there so it's essentially their substitute. I found a rare bit of trim with cup holders in place of the cubby hole in front of the shifter... definitely would have gone for it if I wasn't going off to uni in two weeks!

Yahoo auctions is probably your best bet, here's one I found just now: https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/r1001964739 I know the price is rather ridiculous (!!!!) but there are plenty of gems to be found on there, just need to be patient!

    Sam's 1st Project - Kylie the K11

Just thought I'd do another quick update and talk about plans for the car in the near future. After a quick clean, this is how the car is looking at the minute: And this is most likely how it will stay for the next year or so. I go off to university in September in Oxford, and apart from...
