Got it sorted now a guy from a local garage came with a code reader found error code for NATS malfunction and cleared it...starts on the button now so thanks for all the advice ??

Hi thanks for the reply,as far as I know nothing has been changed,brought the car from a relative so asked them about it,also have changed the battery in the past and car was fine after reconnecting it

Hopefully getting a diagnostic check this week so will post any results asap...many thanks for advice

Have tried both keys and put new batteries in both to be sure,also I only disconnected the negative terminal from the battery and never removed it from the car, also made sure terminal was clean before reconnecting thanks

Thanks for the reply...when I turn the engine over the key symbol stays illuminate, was wondering if it is an easy fix as I only paid £500 for the car so don't want to spend more than it's worth...

Hi all not been here for a while but now got a problem...went away for 2 weeks and decided yo disconnect battery to save it draining...came back,put battery back on now car won't start,it's turning over but won't start and noticed the red NATS Indicator stays illuminated when turning over....any...

Presume it's all opposite to the car in which case it's behind the glove box housing,had to remove mine last week.Unscrew box housing and completely remove and resister should be up behind here and held in to the fan housing with 2 torx screws and 1 small electrical block connector.....hope this...

Hi Chris I decided to opt for a replacement resister as old one looked a bit corroded,fitted it and still nothing!!!! fuses ok.Finding it hard even to get my hand up to feel for motor connector so thinking it could be the motor itself,any ideas on getting motor out,have read about removing it...

Hi all thanks for the advice,Have tried to feel for connector on blower as advised and push it firmly...no joy there and fuses all ok so next step is resister,not sure how to check with meter (where to put probes or what reading I should be getting)so any I do would be much appreciated

Hi I am having a similar problem only mine has stopped working completely,Only had the car 1 month and previous owner said blower only worked intermittently now nothing...could this also be the resister card or could it be the motor,Have asked about blower before but got no response....thanks

Where the hell is the heater motor located on my 03 micra,if it's on drivers side behind heater controls how does it come out.
