MOT is due: What should I pre check? Are any of these issues a fail? (pictured)

Safety checks don't usually include engine or gearbox. Pretty much everything else does though. Your cars engine can rattle like castanets without there being a fail. Rust is only a fail if it has broken out on a structural part of the car. It may pay to retain the original speedo, note the...

    Input needed

The AA here in New Zealand wrote a report on Nissans CVT transmissions. The report originated because there were a condiderable number of local people driving imported mid-1990's JDM Nissans with this relatively new transmission type that were giving trouble in all kinds of ways, but could be...

    Re: Parcel Shelf/Tray.

Sure, yes of course, thanks. My March interior is pretty good save for the seats that look knarly and faded like furnature in an obandoned inner city flat. Here, although not plentiful these days, and in Japan its the bright sunlight that fades car upholstery. It will be more than likely that...

    Re: Parcel Shelf/Tray.

My March has a bog standard grey interior. It's a JDM car as were all March imports into NZ of the period. I think the K12 was the first Model March to be sold new here. From what I am able to tell from watching Micra vids on YT of UK assembled Micra's the interiors, year for year, are pretty...

    Re: Seat Swap.

Dear Micra Men & Lassies. I'm spending too much time with Midge the March and people are starting to talk. But being in the company of the March I am getting bored with the seat fabric shade and pattern. It's a washed out flowery blue and needs to be gone. Re-upholstery is hideously expensive...

    Re: Parcel Shelf/Tray.

Dear Micra Men & Lassies. Here in the wintry world Midge the March and I inhabit super sleuthing for a parcel tray/shelf is bearing very few - read, non-existent results. A couple of Breakers yards have this part from K11 four door hatch backs when mine is a three door car. They say that the...

    Are they starting to dissapear?

I am almost sure that most folk have no idea how to realisically price what they have for sale. The seller applies a simple formulae: low mileage = high askinging price and wil stubbornly hold onto that notion not having any idea that he has discovered the way to make the car sale proof. You...

Anyone help find me the correct paint?

I finally found the cars paint code on a plate rivited to the drivers side of tye bulkhead. This then can be referenced at the auto supply store who makes up the rattle cans for you. I've just gone through this exact same process and it worked out great for me and Midge the March.

    Another March/Micra Variant.

On the on-line auction this link will take you too is a March variant I had previously been unaware of. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/nissan/auction-1269208058.htm My discovery may not be so much of a surprise to all the Nissan fans who are in the know about such things, but to me...

what did you do to your micra today ?

What did I do to my Micra - March today? Nothing, it was too wet and miserable for me to have left the house. The March has taken what was meant to be a very temporary spot in the garage where my wife park her Mitzi Lancer so time is important. Midge the March is there so that I can repair...

    weird micra memorabilia

I'm chasing a 1/43 scale model of a K11 Micra/March. Looking at this photo I can see that the two models to the right are Nissan Collectible models, but can you tell me who the manufacture or distributor is, or was for the two K11 models to the left of the pic, please? Thanks, Bruce.

    Scale Models of K11 Micra/March.

Hi Andy. In a reply to my request for information to help me find a 1/43 scale model of a K11 March/Micra 3 door a member thought that you may have found a seller in Japan who might be able to help. Sent from my GT-P5210 using Micra Sports Club mobile app

    Scale Models of K11 Micra/March.

I have tried to collect a model of each real life car I have owned - I collect 1/43 scale. Missing is a 1/43 scale K11 March 3door. Can any member tell me if such a model exists? There are heaps of models of latter March/Micra's but I can't find a model of a K11 in 1/43. Cheers Bruce.
