The 'wait one hour' message needs the ignition on and the radio on for it to go away, till that message has gone, and you are back to the 'Code' prompt you will not be able to input a code and unlock the radio...

You've left a digit out of the serial number, there should be 12 numbers after 'BP', not 11. Edit:- Just looked at the pictures and as there is no 'BP' engraved before the 11 digit serial number, it would appear that it is not a Blau Punkt radio, so...
