If you really want a mint one to keep you could look into importing one from Japan, quite a few still come up in the auctions there and are often completely rust free. A mint one will probably cost you a couple of hundred thousand yen - just a thought.

CV Joints! After buying some standard joints for a 1.3 K11 with ABS and finding they don't fit because there are only 19 splines on the car drive shaft and 22 splines in the 1.3 Joint (though everything else is the same) I can now confirm standard K11 1.0 with ABS CV joints fit perfectly though...

They don't! The outer splines and shafts are fine but the inner splines which fit onto the drive shafts are 2mm too big ie about 25mm but need to be 23mm. I'm still trying to track down the right ones.

After several contradictory results / replies from factors I've just ordered a pair of normal K11 1.3 with ABS Blueprint outer CV joints. I'll post on the forum whether they fit or not.

It's probably too late for you now but I fitted all 4 standard K11 shocks to mine with no problems.

Has anybody else tried the Irish Danny supplied hoods? My Carhoods northern cover is all but knackered already, much of the internal gluing has come away now too.
