    DIY Sill Repair

Hmmm I was kinda hoping it didn't need to go that route as I was on a budget and the garage quoted me about £40 to get that all welded up. To be honest I only want it to pass the MOT and i think in its current state it may just about but wanted to make sure the rust wasn't bad enough for a failure.

Well I'm pretty sure it has no holes and just the top bit is rusty. And its only like about 2 inches of rust. I will sand it down and if i get to bare metal can i use some sort of rust treatment on it? Primer then paint?

    Best engine upgrade

the 1.3 upgrade would be your best bet. 20 more ponies instantly! Engine swap would be pretty straight forward, you will need 1.3 drive shafts, you can use the 1.0L gearbox and clutch but it is advisable to change this from the 1.3 also as it can cope better. will be your most cost effective...

    screen wash leaking

Or the pipe could have just popped off the jet, trace it back by pulling back the trim and see if you can get at it.

    How do I do this!

Yeah i would recommend changing the wishbone like most other cars since bushes are a ##### to remove and worthwhile doing the whole lot. The balljoint is attached to the hub so this will have to come off, may require balljoint separater or a chisel. once that's off the other two end needs to be...
