Super S from North Italy (K11 Daily Drive 2.0)

I told you in my other K11 log that I would be back.. and here I am. It's a '97 Super S with just 86.000 km (my previous black 1.4 had 129.000) and I must say that for a nearly 15 years old car is in pretty good shape. Especially the interior looks nearly brand new. A little different the...

A Black 1.4 from North Italy

Guys a quick question. I've bought a Super S, full stock. I have the opportunity to buy 4 OMP lowering springs that are -6 cm compared to factory springs. Do you think -6 is too much for the OEM shocks? Anybody tried this before?

A Black 1.4 from North Italy

Well.. the car is located in North Italy, near Milan to be precise. I can't even imagine the shipping cost to the UK. Beside that.. I don't think I'm able to take the engine out :(

A Black 1.4 from North Italy

Good point! I thought about it only later on. The main problem was that the car caught me completely unprepared because it abruptly reacted in a way it shouldn't have done. Anyway, my car won't be back 'cause I'm scrapping it... but probably I will. Maybe a Super S is on the way to my place ;)

Ok.. the end. This one: Happened last Sunday during a track day. I usually go on track with my S2000 but she is sitting in my garage on jackstands since October 2013 'cause I'm doing some work on her but I really have no time to finish as I'm currently working abroad. I was really missing...

    Dashboard fitting

Hi everyone, another quick question. Does a facelift dashboard fit on a pre-facelift car? In other words.. will this: fit in a car originally equipped with this: My concern are the center console vents and ventilation commands.. as they are in complete different locations. Thank you!!

    MudFlaps Fitting

Hallo boys and girls! Will the rear mudflaps from a first facelift fit on the rear bumper of a pre-facelift? I know that the SuperS rear mudflaps fit only on the SuperS bumper, but the others? Are they all the same?

    k11 front end IMPORTANT

The above answer is correct... and yes you need to fit the pre facelift slam panel and bonnet catch. Oh and in order to fit the bumper you need the bumper stays!

A Black 1.4 from North Italy

So.. here we are! After 2 days of disassembling and assembling again, some swearing, now finally I see a proper K11! I must say that everything was pretty much straightforward. I had to do some rewiring in the headlights for turn indicators and parking lights. I also lost the electric aiming...

But now some serious stuff.. I did her ass! :D I finally bolted on all the bits and pieces from the first version. Everything is pretty much straightforward, you just need to do some re-wiring inside the tail lights.. but I think you already know it. Here they are: At the end.. from this...

Well I forgot this picture.. because of course you can't rivet directly the bumper soft plastic, so you need some washers:

I'm trying to finish as soon as possible the paint job. Here is the front bumper.. and now that is painted is time to install the brake cooling intakes: and some rivets 'cause no questions they look cool :D
