Done mine today as i had exactly the same problem its water dripping in through the scuttle panel and dropping down into the blower. I had also previously sealed under there but needed more silicone to completely stop it. I used about half a tube of silicone to make sure and completely covered...
You can heat them up with a heat gun to get them back to their original colour. Have to be careful not to overheat the surrounding paint though, keep the heat gun moving at all times. Did it on one i had previously and came up like new.

Yeah deffo keep the polished lip whatever you do. I think whatever you do will look good, plus you could always repaint them another colour if you fancy a new look.

No, don't be scared if it is lambda was only about 50 quid a few years back from memory. Obviously someone on here will know a way of checking if it is that. I am shocking (literally) when it comes to owt with wires sticking out of it :confused:
I know i've seen it on here a thousand times before but which suzuki springs as i have some off a 2000 1ltr swift and would that be 1 coil off the standard micra rear springs. Would i need an adjustable panhard with this setup?
This happened to me in my '94 1.3 at about 65k, turned out it was lambda sensor even though car was still driving fine. Just about doubled my mpg on next tank full :cool:
Micras passed its fifth MOT with me without an advisory in sight :cool: . I've finally decided to get it lowered. I only want about 35mm ish as its really my girlfriends car and its used everday so needs to retain some comfort. I've had slammed cars in the past and soon get fed up of crashing...
