thanks for your help frank, i swapped the the fan relay with the one next to it, and its deffo the relay thts broke, so now i just need to source one. is it a nissan only part, or cud i get one from else where?

hi, my car alomst overheated the other day, while in traffic. so i investigated it and have narrowed it down to being the realy, however there are 5 relays nxt to each other, so i dont know which one is which. does anyone know? thanks steve

what did u do in the end

right today ive checked the fault codes by counting the flashes and i got 1126. which i believe its to do with throttle? reset them and started car up, and faults back. checked all fuses in car, next to battery, and the ones in the ipdm and there all ok. any one got any suggestions?

hi this has happened on my m8s car, due to it being jump started the wrong way. jus wondering if you managed to get it fixed in the end and wat it was?

wey a think it was caused wen my m8 tryed to jumpstart me and put the jump leads on the wrong way round ie poss to neg.

the fuse unit that attaches to the possitive terminal of the battery. i blew the main fuse (one on the top) so ive fitted a new one today. and now its in limp home mode

wey its worth a try. hopefully it'll fix it. if not al ave to borrow me m8's code reader, unless any1 else has any other suggestions

it blew the fuse next to the postive battrey termnial so i had no car electrics so a replacesd the main unit and it starts the car and all okay apart from when you press the throttle to the floor it doesn't go past 2000rpm and the engine mangement light is on as well

hi i have a 98 facelift, and was wantin to use the self diagnostics function on the eccs, i understand that u put a wire across 2 terminals on the plug in the fuse compartment, but wheres the light that flashes? is it the light on the dash thats next to the aircon switch or is that just for nats?
