    Valve Clearances CGA3

the 2 are a bit tight eh, but should be fine ihtisham they usually open up when warm, its just the first few seconds of startup where they close up when the head is still cold but the exh gasses head up the valve stems

    High Comp 1.4 Pt 2

skimming the block will have the same effect basically ihtisham, just more stripping involved i would just run that engine undisturbed

    High comp 1.4

and bear in mind that the lower chain will be a lot slacker at 1.5mm less height

    High comp 1.4

    yes 10.4:1 for a cg10 and about 11:1 on a cga

    High comp 1.4

ahh sorry.i thought you meant the gasket was 1.4 yes a .5mm gasket will raise it a fair bit eh, 6cc smaller

    High comp 1.4

1mm skim is about 4cc iirc, so a gasket .6mm thinner is just over 2cc smaller ?

    High comp 1.4

there should be some online calculators but i get it to 1348 / 4 + chamber = 377cc and combustion chamber + gasket + piston bowl at 40cc

    High comp 1.4

the rings just wear a bit more ihtisham, they are a bit thinner, and 1.3/1.4 ones have further to travel any cg responds well to higher compression, but you wont gain much from the thinner gasket the stock ones are 2mm ish, so you can workout the gain from compression mathematically

    Suspected Stretched Timing Chain

some-one on here got another couple of years use by shifting the cam sensor iirc, here,s 1 previous thread https://www.micra.org.uk/threads/the-dreaded-timing-chain-of-doom.50896/#post-770170

    Suspected Stretched Timing Chain

imo the k12 chain issue was a software fault, because 10mm of extension on a tensioner of such a long single chain is nothing the k11 chains are half that length and they have 20mm extension on the tensioner plus the fact that you dont get any chain noise, and that some early k12,s had new...

Loss of power and struggling up hill

the timing on my dizzy type k11,s were 15 deg at idle, up to 50 deg at light cruise, and about 20 deg on a hard pull

Loss of power and struggling up hill

those readings sound ok to me i would be looking at the live timing advance next then maybe a blocked exhaust ?

Loss of power and struggling up hill

have you checked the lambda output when pulling up a hill chellis ? should be a constant .9v ideally https://www.micra.org.uk/threads/coilpack-cold-start-enrichment.55615/#post-580492
