cars become a member of the family here and scrapping the poor thing over a few hours work just seems such a waste. I have happily spent over 2 grand on my micra and will likely spend that again before I’m done and it still puts the bigger smile on my face over any car I’ve owned worth double...
the k13 is considerably higher value than a k11, post me of an add for a k13 micra in good running order for that money and I’ll buy it now lol
on the other hand I see the same quote for the k11, bit steep for a few hours labour
could try one of these in the second o2 port especially if it passed emissions as is, darn site cheaper than a cat tricks the sensor in thinking it has a lower reading by taking it out of the exhaust flow, worked for my mx5 but half ppl say it works half say they don’t there are cheaper ones...
Mines a 98 which should have 2, I removed the second with my new system. Correct the cat on the manifold must be doing it’s job even with it being the original from new lol still surprises me it passed tho with no o2 sensor
Probably like you say for performance by the uneducated lol, as for the pass my 1.3 is supposed to have 2 cats, the second of which was removed and the o2 senor Had packed up I replaced it with a bolt and it still passed emissions, mot guy stood scratching his head when he looked under the...
Mate that’s terrible news!!! I had similar issues when I lived in tangmere ended up fighting a few of the parents who didn’t seem to care what their kids got up to.
Keep ya chin up and a brick by the bedroom window 😉
Quote; “I could buy another K11 Micra in good running order with a long MOT for that much Wonga & never have any use for the superfluous Foxwell male jewellery that would sit unused on the gadget shelf”
Neither of them even plug in to my 98 micra either 😂
I got the new one half price so thought why not. I would say the elm 327 should do all you need, it will find codes for things like abs sensors as well as all the engine codes and reset the light, I’m not sure there is much more on a micra to scan anyway lol
I have had this thing for 3 years cost me 7 quid, using torque pro app, works fine for engine codes and resetting lights .
Recently upgraded to this foxwell nt680 pro which covers everything on a car, cost me £180
I only really needed the upgrade as I do a lot of work on cars and needed all the...
Some douche came pushing through the single file with parked cars up my street, took the mirror clean off a parked focus and took the lens off mine...which flew in my window and smacked me in the eye lol now for some no more nails with my coffee
