Passenger window very slow at winding up.

Hello,
I am having trouble with my passenger window as it is quite slow at winding down and the incredibly slow winding up which is frustrating if I want to wind it up on the move.

Don't suppose there are any tips to sort it.

Thanks
Jake

It takes less power in terms of current draw to wind down than up, if when you hit the button to close the window and rev the engine (keep it steady at about 1500rpm) does the window go a little faster?

I've noticed ours is a bit slower on the passenger window, probably lack of use. I make a point of trying to remember to move it up and down fully when ever I can to keep it moving.

When you say it is slow when you are on the move, the alternator should be at full charge if needed, I would take the door skin out once you have tried removing the outside weather strip, this releases it grip in the glass and try the window speed at that stage. then you need to proceed to the mechanics of the winding mechanism, and also check the terminal connectors to the motor, and whilst you have got the connector block off try and check the voltage reaching the motor.
